happy birthday Brent!

Haloween!

I tried to talk Eliza into being a different Haloween costume but her response to every idea I had was "I want to be Sleeping Arora ... the pink one" I couldn't say no!

he is wild. hungry all the time. he was looking for food but found his forearm and gave himself a hickey!

i was sooo tired and obviously didn't get breakfast ready for eliza in a timely manner one morning, so she took matters into her own hands.

This is what you call a potty pedi. I have got to get her set before baby # 2 comes. (even though everyone says they digress)

I am pulling out ALL the stops. note: cookie, bag of suckers, streamers to decorate the potty area!

most mornings

Our friend took these while he was visiting... i love them. Just the every day routine but way more beautiful than it seemed at the time.

christmas time...

Our tree was very "charlie brown-ish". We loved it. We cut it down from a secret spot. (vacant lot by our old house)

real story:
1. It is actually 2 trees tied together for fullness.
2. We made our own tree stand from cinder blocks and pieces of wood... frustration was at an all time high.
3. We ended up having to tie it to the light fixture on the wall.
4. I got a bit depressed while decorating it because it wasn't really looking very good.
5. Almost every visitor would say "I love your charlie brown tree" and then laugh. Brent was confused and later said "i thought it looked better than that..."

but seriously... I ended up loving it!

thanksgiving

It was so fun to be on the mainland this Thanksgiving (it has been like 6 years.) I had a great time and looking back there are so many things I should have taken pictures of. I hate that. Thanksgiving was lovely, aunt Kathy had a beautiful table set, and of course delish!
